LEAD Renovation
We are EPA-certified to conduct lead-based paint renovation, repair and painting activities. We have taken a leadership role in the industry by not just completing the minimum requirements to obtain our certification, but by enrolling all management personnel in the instructional courses.
According to the Toxic Substance Control Act, Title IV, Section 1018, all properties built prior to 1978 must be assumed to have lead content in the existing paint film. Specific procedures must be followed to prevent lead particles from contaminating the environment. These procedures include work area containment, minimizing dust, thorough cleanup, and controlling & proper disposal of the paint chips resulting from surface preparation. Under the rule, beginning April 22, 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes built before 1978 must be certified by EPA-approved training providers and that they use certified renovators who are trained to follow lead-safe work practices.
Free Wood Rot Inspection
As a value-added service to our customers, prior to performing a complete repaint of your property we will inspect for wood damage that may require replacement. Responding to an urgent need in our industry to better maintain aging building components, we provide the experienced “eye” that sees the big picture when it comes to maintaining your home. Wood rot or termite damage to surfaces scheduled for painting will be noted. A full construction report, along with line-item pricing to complete the repairs will be given to the owner or owner’s agent, upon request. Extended Warranty
We want to handle all your painting needs-Period. That is why we will return annually for each of the first four years after painting your property to perform one day of touchup, free of charge. We think it is good business to stay in touch with our customers, and we want our paint jobs to last.
